Night Safari- Kapama Overview

A safari by night in a private game reserve, with the very real chance of seeing any of the Big Five – it’s one of the most exhilarating experiences you’ll ever have. We visit the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, before setting off in an open safari vehicle with our highly experienced ranger, and track the wildlife with a large spotlight. It’s thirsty work, so we pause midway to enjoy a chilled sundowner and snacks in the bush, before continuing our search for Africa’s nocturnal wildlife. Sunset Safari Overview

When the gates of Kruger National Park close at nightfall, we enter the Park in our open safari vehicle in the expert company of an experienced Ranger. By the light of the moon – we hope - and a large powerful spotlight, we track the elusive nocturnal animals of Africa. Shangaan River Club Overview

Turn back the clock, and spend an evening with the original inhabitants of the Sabi River: the Shangaan people. We set out as the sun sets, and visit the chief’s village, meet his family, and the sangoma. In the Royal Kraal, we’ll be seated and treated to a wonderful performance of traditional song and dance, before enjoying a sumptuous traditional dinner.
